Leslie Spencer is a singer, songwriter, writer, teacher, designer and recovering actor. Her long list of credits include a standing engagement as one of the Vixens in THE BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA, with whom she has toured the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan; a five-year stint as the only female member of LOUIS PRIMA JR. AND THE WITNESSES, and the off-Broadway production of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES.

SING OUT, her debut solo album, was released on August 15, 2019.

Besides SING OUT, Leslie’s powerful vocals can be heard on numerous albums recorded with Setzer, and in featured solos on Prima’s 2014 record BLOW. She has performed to national audiences on The Today Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show, Rachael Ray, Dancing with the Stars and FOX’s NFL Sunday.

Whether on the mic or on the page, Leslie’s voice is unlike any other, described by Christopher Loudon of the Jazz Times as “impressively soulful, gutsy and powerful.” Her singing has drawn comparison to Carla Thomas and Etta James, while her writing showcases raw humor and emotionally charged insight. Hers is the kind of voice that you keep thinking about, long after you've forgotten the song, uniquely gifted to belt out the universal feelings that are hardest to express.
